My world are Kangaroos. This mother and her joey live in the Yuraygir Nationalpark in Northern New South Wales. Please click the picture to see the joey.
Goodness, they are very pale. At first I thought they were albinos. Love the second shot with her feet just off the ground launching herself into space.
In my world we have a few too many kangroos at present with all the re-afforestaion we have done. They are a pest with fences though we love them dearly.
I came across your blog and find the pictures just beautiful. I'm creating a business card for a therapeutic bodywork practice in the U.S. and would love to be able to use one of your photos I saw. Is that possible? Please let me know if you charge a fee for a photo and what it would be. Thank you ever so much. Catherine p.s. I have never participated in a blog before, so I hope I'm making contact and if you like, you can contact me by my email which is StapletonC@mac.com, or I'll come find your blog again to see if you've responded here. Thanks!
Adorable!

ReplyDeleteI'm amused how they carry their joeys on their tummies. So unique and adorable.
ReplyDeleteSuch great pictures. The joey is so cute, and it's fun to see the mom in the act of hopping.
ReplyDeleteTHAT is wonderful! I love it.
ReplyDeleteThis is what I think of when I think of Australia. I know they are a nuisance there, but they are intriguing to us! Great photos!
ReplyDeleteKangaroos are amazing creatures... So sweet and so cool at the same time! Thanks for sharing!
